Art WorksPress Release | About Founder

Every material and medium attracts me, to use it for artmaking is my wish. I use them accordingly for my sculpture and concept works, I use wood mostly like that. I like to work because of the physical involvement of my body, machines and tools inspire me. Cutting, pasting, grinding, breaking and engraving are the few processes involved in artmaking and I like to repeat that in all artworks. My artworks are not made of the same materials, it depends on the strength, form, color. The materials and the form select medium and at times medium gives form.

Color, line, form, stroke all these create pieces of information and feel vice-versa the raw materials. The rough surface gives briskness and smooth surfaces give calmness while using these my artwork becomes more commendable and creates contours.

In daily life I/we, you, he/she, bonds to form relationships, it creates feelings and pushes to give artwork or concept, I fine-tune this to make sculptures. At times, nonliving objects also push me to do so. While I think about something it reminds me of these objects or thought about these objects or people.

The college final year show gave me the confidence to experiment with the different, opposite materials and concepts. It does not go in a straight line, it connects all the things which I experience in my daily life. The viewers who see my artwork attain the feeling of happiness and fulfillment, I enjoy it as an artist. It also gives happiness and briskness removing stress, sorrow, I become satisfied while I create artwork, at times it rejuvenates my life.

What, why, how is important for me to proceed with the artwork. Usually, the material finds its way to the concept. The tools guide me to experiment with it and explore new areas.
